Here’s what you need to know :

• Splunkbase.com will continue to function as the primary developer interface for uploading and maintaining your app packages for distribution throught Splunk software and websites.
• Updating your app here will allow us to post it to the new Splunk.com/apps, and your app will immediately be available via the App Manager or Application Launcher in Splunk.
• Apps developed for Splunk 3.x will be available to users only through the in-product App Manager. Users who want to manually convert 3.x apps can use the instructions in our Developer Manual.
