Splunk for use with amMap Flash Maps

Review the documentation below and follow any custom installation steps. If no install steps are listed, most Splunk Apps and Add-ons can be installed as follows:
Windows: Decompress the downloaded file using a tool like 7-Zip and place the resulting folder into %PROGRAMFILES%\Splunk\etc\apps. Then restart Splunk using the splunk restart command or the GUI.
Unix/Linux: Decompress the downloaded file using a tool like tar -xvf and place the resulting folder into $SPLUNK_HOME\etc\apps. Then restart Splunk using the splunk restart command or the GUI.

This app uses the amMap geo mapping capabilities to create flash maps of activity by IP in your Splunk index.
This app uses the amMap geo mapping capabilities to create flash maps of activity by IP in your Splunk index. This script can be invoked via a search command, alert action or through the CLI. The purpose of this app is to support the amMap flash maps anywhere in your Splunk instance. Meaning you can target different apps for outputs and read the resulting HTML file from any app. First you'll want to get the map functioning properly in here before trying to port it to another app. For feedback or questions you can reach me at will@splunk.com.
